Art in the Park: Annual Plein Air Painting Event

July 16-19, 2023

Spend a few days creating in the historic beachside village of Ocean Park, Maine bordering
the Rachel Carson Wildlife Preserve. Artists arrive on Sunday, July 16th, work plein air
each day, culminating in a show and sale on Wednesday, July 19th at 5:00 pm.
During this unique opportunity artist will be provided with:

• Housing, if needed, with a host family in Ocean Park.
• A welcome reception.
• Show location with 6 easels to display plein air pieces at show/sale.
• An eager art loving audience.
• A variety of unique architectural buildings, nature and natural environments
ranging from old growth forest and marsh to the ocean and beach.
• 70% of sales.

All media will be considered. To apply for this show, please submit 3 digital photos of
recent plein air pieces. Images should be labeled in the follow format: Last name of
artist_image_title.jpeg
